Thankyou for such an epic fundraising challenge x

Kilimanjaro 2014

It really was a massive challenge , but when it was suggested that a climb up Kilimanjaro in Tanzania might raise the funds they were hoping for , Marc ,Brendan , Jason and Steven jumped at the chance to climb the highest peak in Africa together.

Sarah's Promise and the Nicola Murray Foundation recieved a wonderful donation from the boys after the fantastic support they recieved from family , friends , work colleagues and members of the judo club.

They chose  to split their sponsorship between  two charities close to their hearts.

Aswell as the 7 day climb , the boys were able  to visit the Orphanage which they were supporting as part of their fundraising , before they returned home.

Although up for the climb physically , the challenges presented themselves in the form of altitude , lack of sleep and the varying temperatures.

Well supported by their team , the boys made a midnight start to reach the summit at sunrise and so enjoyed the amazing views on offer.

After the exhiliration of their acheivement , the visit to the orphanage was equally as overwhelming and humbling , with a warm welcome from the local pastor and a brass band to boot! Wonderful!

The boys have been so touched by the support they have recieved for this challenge and we want to thank them for getting out there and doing such an epic climb.

Well done Steven ,Marc , Brendan and Jason!
